We live above lazybones so you get a discount on food. We both got burgers and it was good. Wine was nice. Beer a bit flat. We will be back definitely, but not every night.
The menu was simple. Chicken wings, brisket, pulled pork, falafel and fries, it had all my faves! You can order either x4, x8 or x12 chicken wings so we shared 8x Hot! wings, the Brisket Chilli & Crushed Guacamole and Smothered Fries (with monterey cheese).
Been meaning to check this place out for a while, finally got round to it on an early Friday evening. Perfectly pleasant interior and good atmosphere, definitely somewhere I could relax. I ordered the burger (£6.95) with a side of pulled pork (£3) and large chips (£5). The food turned up pretty quickly and I'd say was tasty but not amazing. I also thought the amount charged for the pulled pork side was a bit steep for how much you got. Oddly the pulled pork didn't have a sauce on it, which was a bit disappointing. But it waa fairly tasty. The chips also turned up without any seasoning, but that's fine -and to be honest you got quite a sizeable portion for £5. So overall I would say the food was fairly good, certainly enjoyable if not life changing, but I cant help but feel at nearly £18 for my meal (including a coke) it's too expensive for rwgular visits when there's other burger bars around. Also I should mention there's a hefty double burger on the menu, that looked really tempting -but it's only servee mon-thurs. Odd and disappointing.
